Programming that is trauma and healing informed
This workshop is about creating programming that will define what trauma looks like in your specific work, and also what healing looks like in your specific work and how your program falls under these two buckets and look at some strategies and tools for increasing more healing in the programming and assessing for trauma in the programming of your work.
Creating psychologically safe environments
This workshop helps participants define and learn to create psychological safety, especially as it relates to the environment they work in. We'll discuss barriers to psychological safety and ways in which both trauma and resilience play a role. We'll also touch on burnout and what happens if you don't address psychological safety in your workplace.
Grief in the workplace
Grief may enter people’s lives at different points of their career and it’s impossible for it to not affect their work lives. In this workshop, we'll explore how leaders and teams can help individuals navigate the impact of loss in the workplace, including how to communicate shifting needs and adjust what workloads may look like.
Improving team dynamics and communication
Together, we will explore what your current team communication, structure, workflows, and environment are like. Then we’ll review ways to provide and receive constructive feedback, communicate individual and team needs and expectations, and understand different working styles. This workshop is designed to help your team operate in their strengths, be aware of their growth areas, and bridge the gap between the two.
Performance anxiety and mindset for athletes
This workshop helps athletes build mental resilience and confidence through practical tools and discussion. We’ll talk through common challenges like performance anxiety and fear around competing, from your first competition to high-level performance events.You’ll learn somatic exercises to ground yourself before competing, strategies for managing performance anxiety, and techniques to settle your mind and body.. We’ll also explore how to handle setbacks, such as unexpected injuries or changes in training, using research-backed approaches to reset and move forward.
Navigating burnout, compassion fatigue, and vicarious trauma
There are many factors that can lead to burnout at work, especially in high-stakes helping professions. We will explore the unique factors that contribute to burnout in your industry. We will also review how compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma can be part of the slippery slope that leads to burnout. While self-help measures could be useful tools, they often aren’t enough, which is why we will also assess and discuss environmental and structural factors that may need to change and how to address them.
